Trempealeau County Housing Market: April

Spring is officially here in Trempealeau County, and the real estate market is showing

some very interesting trends this April. Whether you're looking to "love on your home" or

find a new one to love, here is what the data is telling us about our local community.

April Snapshot

Trempealeau County Housing Market update April 2026. Spring Housing Market 2026

The "Fresh Inventory" Surge

The most exciting news this month is the 17.4% increase in new listings. We have 27

new properties hitting the market, which is a breath of fresh air for buyers who felt

limited during the winter months. Interestingly, the Median Price for New Listings is

$329,900—a significant 10% jump month-over-month. This tells us that high-quality,

premium homes are finally coming out of hibernation!

What This Means for Sellers

While the median sold price dip (-27.7%) might catch your eye, it's important to

remember that this often reflects the mix of homes that happened to close this month,

rather than a drop in your specific home's value. In fact, the median estimated property

value across the county is actually up 1.1%. With more competition entering the market, now is the time to ensure your home is "show-ready" to capture those eager

spring buyers.

What This Means for Buyers

Opportunities are blooming! With 27 new listings, you have more choices than you've

had in months. However, with the new listing prices trending higher, you'll want to move

quickly and decisively when you find the right fit. Don't let the stats intimidate you; the

right home at the right price is out there!

Are you ready to make a move or curious about what your home is worth in today's market?
